Dr. Naveen K B
Professor & Head, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering
Doctoral research in this area is anchored by the Electronics & Communication department.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The BE Electronics and Communication Engineering program was established in 2005 with an initial intake of 60 students, increased to 120 in 2007 and 180 in 2021. The department introduced M.Tech in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems in 2010. Both programs are under Adichunchanagiri University since 2018-19.

We have well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and a departmental library. Centres of Excellence in Drone Technology and IoT provide hands-on exposure. Technical clubs foster innovation and teamwork.

We run hackathons, coding contests, technical quizzes, seminars, paper presentations, and expert lectures to bridge academics and industry. Students also excel in cultural and sports activities.

I wish all our students and faculty members a rewarding academic journey and a bright future ahead.
