Dear colleagues and students, I welcome you all to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Computer Science and Engineering is committed to providing technical education to the students with leadership qualities through which they can create employment to others. The department has well qualified and dedicated faculty. The objective of the department is to prepare students for a successful career in Industry, Research and academics to meet the needs of growing technology. The department is focused on Outcome Based Education by innovative pedagogy, Industry-Academic interaction and doing real time projects.

The faculty members are encouraged to publish research papers in reputed journals, participate in the Faculty Development Program and workshop through a well-supported system. Department has good infrastructure and computing facilities and provides a conducive environment to promote academic and research excellence in the department. The department is associated with memberships of professional bodies such as CSI, IEEE, ISTE and Institution of Engineers.

Students have taken part in various coding competitions like Hackathon and won National Level top positions. Students also bag prizes in academics as well in co-curricular activities. Students secured a gold medal at university level examinations, and university toppers at VTU examinations. Students showcase their talent in various sports and intercollegiate technical events and bag prizes.

  • Final-year UG students may apply provisionally
