This programme shares its Head of Department with the parent Civil Engineering department.

Dear Students, Colleagues, and Visitors, It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Management & Technology.

Since its establishment in 2009, our department has been dedicated to fostering excellence in education and innovation. We offer a rigorous undergraduate program with an intake of 60 students, alongside two specialized postgraduate programs: M.Tech in Structural Engineering (introduced in 2013) and M.Tech in Infrastructure Management (introduced in 2020), each with an intake of 18 students.

Our curriculum is continuously revised to align with evolving industry standards. We offer value-added courses, certification programs, and workshops that enhance both technical and interpersonal skills — covering sustainable construction, modern infrastructure management, and digital tools for civil engineering. Guest lectures, mentorship, and technical seminars by industry experts provide practical insights.

We support students with certifications in BIM, AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and Project Management. A dedicated team of experienced faculty and staff fosters practical learning through hands-on projects, internships, site visits, and competitions.

We also engage in consultancy projects spanning planning, structural design, material testing, and soil investigation. We remain committed to nurturing innovation, critical thinking, and sustainability so students excel in their careers and contribute meaningfully to society.

I wish all our students a rewarding and successful academic journey.
