Program Overview

Build a strong foundation in computer science

The Bachelor of Computer Science at the Adichunchanagiri School of Natural Sciences (ASNS) is a 3-year, 6-semester undergraduate degree that blends core computing with applied mathematics. Students progress from programming fundamentals and discrete mathematics to advanced topics in algorithms, databases, operating systems, and software engineering.

The curriculum is built around lab-based learning — every theory paper is paired with practical sessions in well-equipped programming labs. Students work with modern languages, development tools, databases, and web technologies, and complete a structured major project in the final semester.

Aligned with NEP 2020, the program emphasises multidisciplinary breadth, hands-on skills, and research exposure, preparing graduates for industry roles as well as higher studies in computer science, data science, and allied fields.
