A snapshot of externally-funded and intramural research at the Adichunchanagiri School of Natural Sciences — spanning drug discovery, nanomedicine, and preclinical evaluation.
ASNS researchers have secured significant funding from national agencies including ICMR, VGST Karnataka, CSRTI-Mysore, industry partners, and ACU intramural grants. The 10 projects span drug discovery, antimicrobials, nanomedicine, biotech, and preclinical research, with a total sanctioned value exceeding Rs 2.14 crores.
This funded research base is supported by four active institutional MoUs, a growing patent portfolio, and access to ACU’s central research infrastructure — positioning ASNS as a productive node in the university’s research ecosystem.
Five research projects are currently underway, led by ASNS principal investigators and funded by ICMR, VGST Karnataka, and ACU intramural grants.
