Dedicated to maternal-child health, reproductive health, and nurturing the next generation of compassionate midwifery professionals.
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Nursing is dedicated to maternal-child health, reproductive health, high-risk pregnancy management, labour care, and neonatal care. Students learn the full spectrum of midwifery — from antenatal assessment and normal labour management to handling obstetric emergencies and postpartum care.
The department is notably the home department of the Principal, Prof. Victoria Sarvand, who brings her extensive OBG expertise to the institution’s leadership. Students receive training in B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc, and M.Sc in OBG Nursing, with clinical postings at the AHRC OBG ward and labour room.
