Comprehensive examination framework governed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), ensuring rigorous assessment of theoretical knowledge, clinical competence, and professional readiness.
All examinations at Adichunchanagiri College of Nursing are conducted under the authority of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. The examination system is designed to comprehensively evaluate students across theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and clinical competence.
The assessment framework combines continuous internal evaluation with university examinations, ensuring that students maintain consistent academic performance throughout the programme. Internal assessment carries 20–25% weightage while university examinations account for 75–80% of the total marks.
Clinical and practical examinations incorporate the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) format, which provides a standardised, objective assessment of clinical skills across multiple stations. An Exam Cell Coordinator manages all examination activities, liaising between the college and RGUHS for smooth conduct of examinations.
Each nursing programme follows a specific examination pattern as prescribed by RGUHS, with variations in duration, frequency, and assessment structure.
The dual assessment model combines continuous internal evaluation with comprehensive university examinations, ensuring holistic evaluation of nursing competence.
