Program Overview

The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) at SACP is a 2-year diploma program approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of pharmaceutical sciences including pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, and hospital & clinical pharmacy.

Students gain hands-on experience through practical training in hospital dispensaries, community pharmacies, and the college's well-equipped laboratories. The program prepares graduates to qualify as registered pharmacists and take up careers in community pharmacies, hospital pharmacy departments, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and drug regulatory agencies.

Eligibility & Admission

Entry requirements for the D.Pharm program at SACP, as per Pharmacy Council of India guidelines.

Qualification

10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board.

Entrance Exam

Valid scores in the state-level entrance examination. Direct admission seats are also available as per university norms.

Admission is conducted in accordance with PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) regulations and RGUHS affiliation norms.
