Institutional Committees

Governance Through Active Committees

Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy maintains a robust committee structure to uphold academic standards, ensure student welfare, and promote a transparent and inclusive campus environment. Each committee operates under defined mandates aligned with UGC and university directives.

Anti-Ragging Committee

Ensures a safe and secure campus environment for all students in compliance with UGC anti-ragging regulations. Conducts awareness drives, monitors hostel and campus areas, and addresses complaints promptly.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Maintains and enhances quality standards across teaching, research, and institutional operations. Conducts academic audits, organizes faculty development programs, and ensures continuous improvement aligned with NAAC benchmarks.

Grievance Redressal Committee

Addresses student and staff grievances through a structured, confidential mechanism. Ensures fair resolution of academic, administrative, and personal concerns, fostering trust and transparency within the institution.

Internal Complaint Committee

Women's Cell / Gender Sensitization

Promotes gender equality, safety, and empowerment on campus. Organizes workshops, awareness campaigns, and provides a supportive platform for addressing concerns related to gender-based discrimination and harassment.

Anti-Discrimination Committee

Ensures equal opportunity for all students and staff regardless of caste, religion, gender, or socio-economic background. Enforces anti-discrimination policies and investigates reported incidents impartially.

Library Committee

Oversees academic resources, digital library access, journal subscriptions, and infrastructure development. Ensures availability of current pharmaceutical literature, e-resources, and study spaces for students and faculty.

Research & Development Committee

Guides research policies, reviews funded projects, and fosters a culture of innovation. Supports faculty and students in pursuing grants, publications, and collaborative research with industry and academic partners.

Examination Committee

Manages fair and transparent assessment processes including internal examinations, practical evaluations, and university exam coordination. Ensures adherence to academic calendars and timely result publication.

Cultural & Sports Committee

Organizes extracurricular activities including inter-college competitions, annual cultural festivals, sports meets, and recreational programs that nurture all-round personality development among students.

NSS / Community Service Committee

Coordinates social outreach programs including health camps, blood donation drives, rural pharmacy awareness campaigns, and environmental initiatives. Instils a sense of civic responsibility in students through active community engagement.

Solar-heated water systems installed across hostel facilities reduce dependence on conventional energy sources. The institution actively explores renewable energy integration to minimise its carbon footprint.

RO Water Filtration

Clean and purified drinking water is made available across the entire campus through RO filtration systems, ensuring health and hygiene standards for all students, staff, and visitors.
