B.Sc. MBBt at Adichunchanagiri School of Natural Sciences (ASNS) is an integrated three-year undergraduate program that unites three foundational life-science disciplines — Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology — into a single, tightly coordinated curriculum. Students build rigorous knowledge across the molecular, cellular and organismal scales.
The program covers microbial techniques, biomolecules, enzymology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, industrial biotechnology and clinical microbiology. Laboratory training is central: students work with aseptic culture, spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, PCR, enzyme assays and bioprocess equipment, guided by experienced faculty in well-equipped teaching labs.
Graduates of B.Sc. MBBt are prepared for roles in clinical and research laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, food and diary sectors, public health laboratories and postgraduate study in M.Sc., MS and allied biomedical programs in India and abroad.
Final curriculum follows ACU Academic Council approval; topics indicative.
