Eligibility

Eligibility & Admission

Candidates must satisfy ACU Ph.D. regulations. The process combines academic merit with a rigorous research-proposal review.

  • Master's degree (M.Sc.) from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates)
  • Qualification in the ACU Ph.D. entrance examination, or exemption via a recognized qualifying exam (UGC NET / SLET / GATE / JRF, etc.)
  • Submission of a research proposal in the candidate's intended area of study
  • Interview and presentation before the Doctoral Research Committee (DRC)
  • Compliance with all prevailing Adichunchanagiri University Ph.D. regulations
