List of applicants exempted from the entrance examination based on UGC-NET/JRF/GATE qualification.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled categories) in the qualifying examination.
Note: For Engineering disciplines, M.Tech/M.E. is preferred. For Pharmacy, M.Pharm is required. For Nursing, M.Sc Nursing with 60% is required.
All applicants must qualify the ACU Research Entrance Test (ACU-RET) conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, SLET/SET, or equivalent national-level examinations may be exempted from ACU-RET.
Note: NET/JRF/GATE qualification alone does not guarantee admission. Selection is subject to availability of seats and supervisor.
Candidates must submit a research proposal (2-3 pages) outlining the proposed area of research, objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes. The proposal will be evaluated during the interview/viva voce.
Full-time: Minimum 3 years, Maximum 6 years. Part-time: Minimum 4 years, Maximum 7 years. All candidates must complete mandatory coursework during the first two semesters.
Note: Part-time admission is available for candidates employed as teachers/professionals in recognized institutions.
