The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at BGS Institute of Technology was established in 2005 with an initial cohort of 60 students. Under the academic umbrella of Adichunchanagiri University, the department has grown into one of Karnataka's most respected engineering programmes — earning NBA accreditation and expanding to an annual intake of 300 students.
