The 32nd Annual State level conference of Karnataka Medico-Legal Society, hosted by the
Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi
was held on 8th and 9th November 2024.
Dr. M G Shivaramu, Professor & Principal of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences,
was felicitated as a “DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI” of JNMC Belagavi, in the conference of
Karnataka Medico-Legal Society, hosted by the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology,
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi.
Ms. Rakshitha B M & Ms. Sandhya G, Demonstrator, Department of Forensic Medicine &
Toxicology participated & presented a paper from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences
under the guidance of faculty of Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.
Ms. Rakshitha B M, presented an oral paper titled “Unconventional Drowning Scenario- A Case
Report’’.
Ms. Sandhya G, presented an oral paper titled “Electrocution without external marks: A Forensic
challenge in determining cause of death’’
