Values & Conduct

Campus Ethics

Rooted in the spiritual heritage of Sri Adichunchanagiri Math, ACU fosters an environment of mutual respect, academic integrity, compassion, and responsible citizenship — values that shape professionals and human beings alike.

ACU Campus Ethics
Foundation
Our Core Values

Adichunchanagiri University was founded on the principle that education must transform character, not just transfer knowledge. These values guide every policy, program, and interaction on campus.

Integrity

Academic honesty, transparent governance, and ethical conduct in research, examinations, and all institutional dealings.

Respect & Inclusivity

Equal dignity for every individual regardless of caste, creed, gender, religion, or economic background. Zero tolerance for discrimination.

Compassion & Service

Inspired by the Math's tradition of "Sarve Janah Sukhino Bhavantu" — may all beings be happy. Community service is woven into campus life through NSS, NCC, and health outreach.

Academic Excellence

Rigorous standards in teaching, evaluation, and research. No shortcuts, no compromise — only earned achievement and genuine learning.

Holistic Development

Education of the mind, body, and spirit. Daily yoga, spiritual discourse, sports, and cultural engagement alongside academics.

Environmental Stewardship

Solar-powered green campus, water recycling, medicinal garden, and tree-planting drives — responsible custodianship of the natural world.

"
Education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge — it is the cultivation of character, compassion, and the courage to serve humanity with humility.

3

7

Students must comply with instructions from authorized university personnel and cooperate with institutional committees, cells, and disciplinary proceedings.
